It was lovely to see a large number of people from the church and her family. I spoke with Sandria Hill and she mentioned that it looked like most of the old Leicester 2 were in attendance and it certainly seemed like that.
The service went very well and there was a lovely feeling, it was like the spirit was wrapping us in a cosy blanket. Although I was extremely worried- I didn't want to upset anyone- but it went well and I know that the spirit was directing me.
I had a few moments with Grant and Dwight and it was amazing to see them all grown up.
After the funeral it was back to EBM to meet with the Elders and Sisters returning home after completing their missions. I never cease to be amazed by their service, in spite of hardships they have focused themselves and got on with a difficult job. The structure of the mission that they have got through must stand them in good stead for the future.
We had dinner at the Leppards and as usual a great time was had by all. Its our job tomorrow evening to take Elder Clarke to Birmingham Airport to return home to New Zealand.
