St Columb & Mevagissy -Monday 23rd

The weather looks good and we went to Tesco to buy some flowers for the family grave. We drove to st Columb and we went through the back way by the cemetery. The sun was really coming out as we found the graves and Michael managed to find some water for the flowers. We used a cut off plastic bottle for the case inset, which worked really well. We also did the same for Richards grave and cleared the overgrowth away.

After leaving St Columb we headed off to Mevagissy . We parked on the large car park and walked down to the town. We walked along the harbour and then sat on side of the outer harbour. I spent a lovely hour chatting with a local resident who told me of her life having been born inMevagissy   and then spent her time working abroad before eventually returning to a Mevagissy . We walked back into town and had lunch at Sharskin. We had a table by an open window and a great lunch. I was glad to be out of the direct sun it was so hot.
