Belvoir Castle

We all headed to Belvoir Castle, Michael and I and Matthew, Zoe and their family. The weather is marvellous and we started off by watching a peacock in the car park.
After a steep climb we made it up to the gardens below the castle and the children were entranced. Amber and Phoebe had brought their signs for school to note they were "on tour".

A great day was had by all exploring the castle and the gardens and woodlands. Grandma got a rest by a fabulous jasmine bush with a heady perfume.

To finish the day of course a pot of ice cream and a souvenir....
